The Philosophical Department´s Library Will Be Closed from 02.08. to 20.08.2021 Due to Relocation

The Philosophical Department´s Library is moving to Kármánstraße 17/19 (first floor) during the summer term 2021. Therefore, it will be closed from 02.08. to 20.08.2021.

During this time no books can be borrowed or returned. No fees will be charged for loans that end in this period.

            

The Philosophical Department´s Library remains closed on 07.12.2020

Unfortunately, the Philosophical Departmen´s Library has to remain closed on 07.12.2020. If you have any questions concerning the borrowing or returning of pubclications, please contact the library team.

Departemental Library takes up emergency service

Due to the current situation, the departemental library will remain closed until further notice, with the exception of an emergency service on Wednesday, from 10:00-14:00. During this time books can be returned. Please note: In any case until 03.05.2020 no fees will be charged!
Borrowing is only possible in urgent cases. In such cases please inform the library team in advance by e-mail (bibliothek@phil-inst.rwth-aachen.de) which book or books you need. You will be informed when you can pick up the books.
In the library, please wear breathing protection and keep your distance as much as possible!

   

Emergency Service for Departement Library is intended

Due to the current situation the departemental library remains closed for the time being. In any case, no fees will be charged until 03.05.2020. We will do our best to resume at least an emergency service as soon as possible and will inform you about the current situation at this point!

   

Departmental Library Closed

Due to the current situation the philosophical department´s library will remain closed. Also the planned emergency service can no longer be offered. This applies initially until April 19, 2020, until which time no reminders or charges will be made.

   

Opening Hours of the Departmental Library Changed

Due to the current situation the philosophical departement´s library will remain closed until further notice, with exeption of an emergency service on Friday from 1pm to 3pm. In this time books can be returned. Lending is possible only in urgent cases. In such cases please send the library team an e-mail which book(s) you need. You will then be informed when you can pick up the book(s).
